This ep is a selection of ideas and techniques I've learned in the past year-its a beginning to a record of steady streams of visions,shapes and colors I see in my head interpreted into sound. It deals with experimental sounds and tones made from scratch,and vocal samples destroyed and arranged into organic textures.Drones,soundscapes,thoughtful melodies and glitchy rythyms are the flavor of choice. Each track on this ep was written with a non traditional arrangement in mind for the reason of letting the sounds play their full part for the people who enjoy sound in its full glory.




Cronus....the journey began at the age of 12 when I got my hands on a single track tape deck recorder. Sounds had a new perspective when I was able to record them, play them back and isolate them. A healthy dose of 70`s analog disco,kraut rock,classical and progressive-acid rock got me familure with the exsistance of non commercial music-forward thinking music as its coined.by age 15 id become consumed by the early 90`s techno,electro and early florida breaks-the music,culture and way of living(it was perfect.but time brings change and the scene died-besides the small techhouse and breakbeat scenes that we have today in florida which depending on where you live may be nothing at all.the electronic music never stoped even when the citys clubs stoped to a stand still-my music is born from many good freinds and many good nights or days at private get togethers hearing autechre,jedi knights early ghettotech,noise installations,florida electro(where it all started) and the like-riverside is an area in jax florida that continues to thrive artistically to this day.in 2001 i decided playing records was not enough and set out on a long road of experimentation-its been 6 years now and several hundreds of tracks later that ive decided
